Let’s go to the moon
Another week like the others which came before. We are getting used to it aren’t we? It still feels a bit uneasy though. Thus, this week we are transporting ourselves far far away. Where is the furthest we could go? (That humans have been before!) The moon of course! It seems far enough away for us. 🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕 We have come up with decorations, activities, music, films, anything that could transport us far far away. And since imagination is our speciality, simply being on the moon in our heads is good enough for us!
So, if you are still at home like we are, and if you are looking for ideas, between two science lessons, we have come up with a few cosmo-compatible activities for your little ones to enjoy! 3, 2, 1 lift off!
- watch this video of a rocket take off filmed on a GoPro and imagine you are there for the first steps on the moon
- print out these cards and use them to learn what all the planets look like… which would you most like to visit?
- make a rocket out of toilet paper rolls, use your imagination!
- listen to David Bowie Starman, Life on Mars
